Yes, I'm in California. I did not ask for the outer box.

Ok I am in California as well. I ordered on October 17th. I did ask for an outer box as well. I received a UPS label and the shipping documents on November 4th.
Note they had a number of technical issues during this time. I also sent quite a few emails to both my dealer and also logged a few cases with Devialet care on the matter. I also decided not to wait for the outer box once I got all my documents and wrapped the two boxes securely in brown paper overwrap.
My suggestion is as follows:
Log a case with Devialet Care if you have not done so. Let them know when you made payment for the upgrade and how long you have been waiting. Be polite but firm. If they close the case, re open it, ask to speak to someone in the Expert Pro upgrade program if you don't feel you are getting sufficient information on where you are in the queue. It can be difficult at times working with them, but they do have some really good people on their team who care.
The UPS Label and documents (customs and export declaration) are sent to you via email.

I received my upgraded 250 back on Thursday. I didn’t get to plug it in and have a first listen till Friday night.
Straight out of the box there was noticeable improvements in some areas but the balance of sound was clearly a bit forward. I left my XLO burn in track running for about 12 hours on Saturday and when I had a listen at the end of the day the balance was sounding like the old 250.
I spent quite a bit of time listening to music today and whilst there’s no wattage increase in going PRO it does seem to be driving my speakers considerably better. The bass is deeper and dynamically more powerful.….more texture I think someone else said. The soundstage seems more fleshed out, more 3D, there seems to be more a perception of depth. I’m finding the music is demanding more of my attention in that it’s more engaging emotionally, more fun to listen to. It brings a smile to your face – certainly really enjoying it so far.
