Chrysta Bell "This Train", CD rip.
Collaboration with David Lynch...that may say it all. Mostly ethereal/dreamy, generally a pretty easy listen. "Swing With Me" is easily the stand-out track for me. (I am a sucker for a slow 6/8 blues any day of the week.) Roon (Mac Mini), Wilson Benesch Full Circle, Expert 1000 Pro CI, Kaiser Chiara

Lunatic Soul "Lunatic Soul", CD rip.
Moody, dark, ambient/rock. First listen: I like it, but so far it hasn't gripped me as much as "Walking on a Flashlight Beam". Roon (Mac Mini), Wilson Benesch Full Circle, Expert 1000 Pro CI, Kaiser Chiara

I've had an interesting morning listening to a few tracks from Lacrimas Profundere, Porcupine Tree and Lunatic Soul. I must admit I was intrigued by Thumb's and amabrok's Gothic Metal and Ambient Metal descriptions. Good stuff, and much appreciated, even these very brief descriptions act as a good pointer as to if something is worth a try.
Inspired by all this, I'm now having a listen to Midian's Cradle of Filth, which is real full on Gothic Metal. Although not as pleasant a listen as the above recommendations, in fact I think I can only make it through about three tracks of Midian before I might be physically sick!

Glad you liked some of the pointers If you liked Lacrimas Prodoundere then I may suggest one of their best albums "Burning a wish" Also try Theatre Of Tragedy, their self titled album and "Velvet Darkness They Fear" Let me know what you think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Aurender X100L / Transrotor Crescendo TT / Denon DCD1520 / Macbook Pro >> D400 >> Martin Logan Montis

Not listening to anything tonight as my D-Premier is currently in France being upgraded to a 250.
It's possibly the very last D-Premier to be upgraded, and it is also one of the first purchased, serial number 00046.
