Not sure if this was ever asked but I thought it would be interesting to see the type of gear people have either traded-in or sold off to get their Devialet.
For myself, I sold off the following gear to get my Devialet 200:
- EMM Labs PRE2SE pre-amp
- Bryston 4B-SST2 power amp
- Bryston BDA-2 DAC
I'm still holding on to my Rega Aria MC/MM phono stage until I've had enough time to compare it to the Devialet's internal phono stage for my Rega RP-10/Apheta 2 combo.

So glad that I upgraded. Very glad! Although the MF was a big juice hungry amp and was hugely powerful
, it's not a patch on the D's subtle approach. Just STUNNING. I don't think Phantoms would come close. Hey! Don't wanna upset anybody! May be something to do with my ribbons! The mids and especially the treble are something else, making it so believable. Just saying!
