fraha´s set

Hello, after the Expert 220 Pro is for almost two weeks now in my system, i discovered this forum today and registered straight away.
At the moment i'm exploring the forum first before i comment on one or the other topic or ask any questions. But what I can do immediately is to introduce my setup here.
TT: Rega Planar 3-upgraded / Neo PSU / Rega ND7
Phono-Pre: hoer-wege V3 MM
Stream: PrimeCore Audio A7 with external PSU Progressive Audio
Reclocker: Ideon Audio 3R Master Time Black Star
CD transport: NuPrime CDT-10
The 220 Pro  Heart has more than exceeded my expectations. I previously had the Buchardt i150, which is priced far below the Pro, so i had big expectations, but i hadn't expected such a difference, especially as the i150 is already a very good amplifier, which in my opinion performed far above its price class.
And no, i haven't compared the internal phono pre with my actual pre yet, i'll do that one day  Angel

Hi,
Welcome to Devialet Chat!  That’s a nice system you have there, and I hope you continue to enjoy your 220 for many years to come. You have an ideal upgrade path (another 220) there if you wish!  Smile

G'day mate.

Welcome to the forum. As per above; 440Pro is one way to go, but for the same money, a small pair of well integrated subwoofers will transform your system beyond belief.

i´ve had a sub before, but after i got the E50, there was no need for me to still use the sub, so i sold the sub.  Angel

Welcome, from a former Devialet owner. I'm pleased that you are impressed with the 220 ProCI. I sold mine about three years ago, and I miss it. No doubt as a fellow bass player, you'll find the bass from the Devialet quite wonderful; I hope so, at least, as I certainly did.

Wrok on. (but ditch the bass with too many strings :0)
