Earlier B&W 802D, the first version with diamond tweeter
The Andra III speakers arrived a few days ago, so I am just getting familiar with the combination. But my first impression is improved soundstage precision, more midrange details, better defined bass, black, black background and gone is my listening fatigue.
The Devialet 200 / B&W 802D combination was very analytical and more in my face, with higher volumes it was obvious that the Devialet 200 lacked power with sharp upper midrange and treble as a result.
So my choice was either to upgrade to Devialet 400 or change speakers. I started with the speakers, but I know that I have to try a second Devialet to get the full experience.
