Figured this would be a good introduction as my first post. I've been using the 200 for about 2 yrs now. Just added the companion to jump to the 400 mono. It is a big jump up in performance. Control, Spacial complexity, Timbre, Pace, All round far easier to see deeply into the music.

Using Davone Ray-S speakers, non Sam. Pretty much exclusively Vinyl with Simon Yorke Design S-10 and Charisma Ref-2 Cartridge.
Very interesting speakers: completely new to me.

Worth the listen if you ever get the chance. Completely disappear. Extraordinary imaging. Great micro dynamics and detail while having great pace and rhythm.....

I'll keep my eyes open. No dealers in the UK though, according to their website.

The SAM of GP HRS-120 is actually taken from this speaker. ???

Welcome to the forum! Yes, your speakers have a SAM profile, so Devialet have had a pair in their workshop or they've been measured out on the road somewhere.
is it dev 250 enough for gallos? I have ref 3.5 and thinking to buy D200 now and later comanion maybe, depends of budget.

Using new Martin Logan Expressions with D400.  I have posted comments on the Expression break in process elsewhere in this section.  My guess is that the 200 could be practical in a smaller room, or for those who don't listen to large orchestral, large organ, and other power music at higher volume.  Expression seems to be somewhat more efficient than the Summit X which preceded them.

LE 200 with Triangle Esprit Antal EZ for now. It took some time to break in, not sure if the time was the devialet or the speakers, but now the combo sounds great. Before setting in on these I tried the KEF-LS50, Tannoy Revelation XT-6, B&W 685 S2 and the Brystone signature edition. The Esprit Antal EZ are in the SAM database and seem to go all the way to 18hz, which from my observations, they go indeed pretty low. In the future, I may try the Atohm GT-1 HD as the guys in the devialet store said that they were miraculous with the LE 200, so we'll see.

BTW: Contrary to the norm, I prefer the Tannoy XT-6 to the KEF LS50 in my usage. If you are going to have a single speaker, the KEF is the choice, but if you have a sub-woofer IMO the XT-6 has more finesse in the mid-range and is more natural in things like pianos, cymbals and instruments.
