I hope they'll get soon SAM compatibility, without need for fake registrations ... !!!

Best Regards Yaduvent

I am considering to purchase the Django XL speakers. It would be interesting to hear if the SAM-treatment did improve the speakers performance.

Devialet 200
Magnat Quantum Signature
250 and Martin Logan Vantage, though ML Montis (111 SAM votes as of today) are on my wish list.

The good news about the Montis is that they are one of the very best speakers out there (under £20K or so). The not-so-good news is that Devialet will not make the Montis SAM-ready. In a sense this doesn't matter much, as the Montis has its own internal DSP that integrates the panel and the woofer.

Hello Rodney, welcome to the forum. You can also have unofficial membership to the "side mounted bass drivers club" (current membership 3, Blades, Vivid & Rockport) Have a look around and you should find your fellow Vivid owner lurking around these parts.

Thanks Matt. My dealer said much the same thing about the Montis.
Thanks for the welcome
I am lucky in that I have my own dedicated 33ft x 22ft quite soundproof music room and thus WAF or loudness I can play at is not an issue..
It was my fellow SAfrican G1/Devialet owner that persuaded me to pull the trigger , I went to a demo of the G1's and D premier at a Hotel and it was dreadful , but after listening to the setup in his place , it was a different story..
I have long been a member of the side firing woofer club , my Meridian DSP6000's are like that Smile

Hi Rodney,
good to see you over here. I've followed your posts over on PFM with interest, especially re. DSP/room correction.
