From time to time the Air icon goes black for a second and then turns gray again, I'll have to reinstall the firmware 12.2.6, no progress, it's hopeless.

But did get it working now with AIR 3.0.2 release candidate after hours of trying
Did edited last config file and did set DHCP to off ,then just saved ,back into Dev and uploaded and Air it works now with Expert 250 Pro Eth ,hmmmm what a circus
Dont know if that was the trick but i dont change again.it works
I have used my dev seamless since the D Premiere via ethernet cable ,but did get gray hair with this super duper upgrade

maybe I'm missing something, but why are you using AIR 3.02 with Roon ? Why are you not using the much better Roon AIR implementation ?
I've rolled back to FW 12.2.6 and DOS 2.2.0 and everything is working again thankfully. I still believe we should not be seeing this amount of issues with the software a good 5 to 6 months since the introduction of the CI upgrade program.

Before the upgrade i had to shut down the AIR icon ,but now i need to have it engaged ?????

It worked. By using another sdcard upgrading went smooth and most issues were solved.
One issue I still have is the amp running at high temperature. The D220 warms up to 51 °C without playing.
My D200 operated at significant lower temperature, max ~ 42°C.
Is operating temperature of D220 higher than D200? I think 51 °C is pretty hot.
Any ideas on the subject?

I never have these high temps on my 1000pro, but the case can dissipate more heat than the 220. But even 51° is not much for an amp. Pure class-A or tube amps have much more...
Maybe you can change the placement. Hangin on a wall works better than standing in a rack...

With Roon you should uninstall the Devialet AIR driver. Roon will show the Devialet in the devicelist with a big Devialet amp picture. Very easy to configure and SQ is much better.
If Devialet AIR is installed and active the Roon implementation will of course not work and I guess the same will happen to Devialet AIR if Roon AIR is active. So better uninstall Devialet AIR.

I'm getting the best result by using AIR Wifi. Beside that I'm using the defaults. Works absolutly stable.

Go into Roon Settings menu and go to the Audio settings. It will show the possible output options availabe from Roon. There's a section listing devices on your network to which Roon can pass a stream and your Devialet should be one of them. Enable that input and Roon will use it's own internal AIR driver to output to your amp but make sure you have the Devialet AIR app on your computer turned off or, better still, remove it entirely from the amp.
