Hi all - my speakers are sitting with a low number of votes I'm not willing to compromise my principles and vote multiple times (or maybe I just haven't figured how). Speakers are Raidho C-1.1:

And I'll vote for yours!

I guess the voting is completely mindless at all and will not lead to any speaker measured for SAM by reaching a minimum number. What ever this number will be tomorrow. It has been 30 for a couple of hours. On the second day the quorum was 50. Now it´s 100. In my eyes it is a (sorry for that) piss-take that provides Devialet with a lot of mailing adresses. Not more.

You can vote 5 times using the same e-mail address -- or at least you could about a week ago. And you can use all 5 votes for the same speaker.
Since Devialet allows this, I don't see why one shouldn't do it.
Obviously the voting system was very poorly designed and has been thoroughly compromised. Of course Devialet know this. The question is what they can do about it without making a bad PR situation even worse.

It will be a great test for Devialet to show all its clients that this vote is just not for fun.
My speaker have 121 votes...and I will be very interesting what does it mean for Devialet? There are other little known speakers on the market with more votes. It will be very hard to find this speaker and make SAM for them.

And I'll vote for yours!
Done! (But my need is greater than yours, I think…)

I've given up voting for my Martin Logan Vantages; instead I'm saving up for some Summit Xs.
Been thinking about a speaker upgrade for a while, but hadn't anticipated it would be instigated by Devialet!

As a fellow ML owner (Montis), I'd question whether SAM will make any difference at all. The MLs' subs are driven by their own amps, which are in turn insulated from the Devialet by a DSP crossover.
Also the phase alignment shouldn't make any difference, as the MLs only have one passive driver.
But that's only theory, and I may be quite wrong ...

Now why didn't it occur to me that I could just use one email address for 5 votes for the same speaker? That's why I'm a doofus I guess. Voted for yours thumb5...

That's a really interesting question... I notice the Martin Logan Odyssey has 216 votes, presumably this also has built-in sub? Might be worth creating a new thread for this...
