Some interesting things to go with a Sonore microRender. Complete solution with ROON core and RAAT output to USB.

Yes both the review on CA and the email for purchase occured today.

Do you know what is the length of warranty for the microRendu? Is it 4 years parts and labor like the Uptone Audio products?

CA Review, Part 1: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/conten...ew-part-1/

Sonore host a 'sponsored' forum on CA, which I'm not implying makes any difference, but just so people are aware there is a connection.

That said, quoting from CA, part 1 closes with: "….. I've spent hours on end listening to music since I took delivery of the microRendu. I wanted to make sure I wasn't burned by expectation bias, so I compared it to many other sources and methods of audio playback (both blind and sighted). After all this, I can unequivocally say that with the microRendu in place, my audio system has never sounded better than right now."

He's not giving many details away on the setup yet which is a shame, and it sounds like we wont get it until after High End. It could be that he's using it with a £2K power supply or whatever, so will have to wait and see the details. Since orders are now open for first customers, I'm guessing we'll be seeing some feedback from the early adopters soon enough - question is, will I be one of them or not?

It is smaller than an iPod player. Cool device. Enabling music player and audio renderer to be separated is great.
