Expert 250 Pro awake from sleep -> USB connection lost

yes I tried switching source but no luck.
FWIW I also run USB Prober (an Apple app), while awaking the Devialet, and this is what it said

  27.712 [1] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in.  It will keep retrying.  (Port 2 of Hub at 0x6000000)
  30.227 [1] AppleUSBHubPort::FatalError - Port 2 of Hub at 0x6000000 reported error 0xe00002c7 while doing clearing port power feature
  30.227 [1] The IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate the device (Port 2 of Hub at 0x6000000).

I used to have an Intona when I used a USB connection to the amp. I never had any problems, although this was a few years ago and I was running an earlier Devialet firmware version. You say that there’s no problem with the USB direct to the amp so perhaps this points to a faulty Intona?
Do you prefer USB to Ethernet for your connection between Mac and Devialet?
