For a while, Dione stopped playing all formats but “Audio Stream” only. As I have tried a number of things including updates and resetting everything, I am becoming pretty desperate. I’ve asked Devialet support and they said they have escalated the issue, but I haven’t heard back for days since. The Dione is under warranty (half a year old) and and I even purchased the 5y extension. The soundbar looks like it’s in pristine condition, it sits there like a shrine under our TV and we treat it like raw eggs.
It used to play Atmos from Streaming Apps and Apple Music reliably, as well as streaming content in 5:1 and DD, for months on end and I can’t recall any “incident” when it stopped doing to.
I’ve reset the Dione to factory settings several times, also my 65OLED/809 Philips TV, my Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen, updated the TV to the latest software, Apple TV to 18.6, the Dione is at 2.18.6 for a while now. Un- and replugged all cables from all devices. I had not changed cabling configuration or the hardware when the Dione stopped playing multichannel audio.
I have toggled and experimented with Audio settings on Apple TV and the TV, nothing helps. Atmos, 5:1, Digital just don’t come back. I’ve tried playing Dolby Atmos content from the Philips TV apps directly as well, Disney and Netflix, same result.
All but stereo sound is gone.
