Actually, Spotify Connect Lossless already works in 2.18! (Don't know about 2.19, I did not do the update yet... I guess?)

For the optical direct, it does not seem necessary... unless "other bug fixes and improvements" apply? Whatever that means Still, I personally would update. It's always better to have your system as up to date as possible.

May I ask, how do you know it’s working? When playing on Phantom via Spotify app, lossless tag is not being visible at least for me. I am on the latest DOS for Phantom I Golds.
