didn't read the whole thread but i've been having one speaker in the stereo pair do a sudden half second drop out while playing music vids on youtube and it is really annoying.
the thing that seems to be fixing it is power off both speakers wait at least 30 seconds then power both back on at the same time. seems to have done the trick. hope it sticks
edit: for the record it's a pair of golds (shiny) and all is up to date
