I think playing in spark had a very slight edge but it is very close. Do you find the hifimediy to be actually an improvement in sound?
Anyway the real bonus is being able to use Roon, Iriver or whatever player I fancy while spark comes up to speed. I use Spark for more critical listening though.

sleach, presumably Spark still sound better than the ifi ilink even with lossless files Are you using tidal?
