Yes, no need to have an ethernet connection to Dialog. But as I described Spark does not work! It goes to setup mode. The other app that Devialet offers on IOS called Phantom, however functions. With this app you can control the newer version of Phantom that has built-in bluetooth. In my setup I have two old Phantoms from the first batch and one new one with BT. I can run all three Phantoms with Dialog set-up in two rooms. When I set all three in one 'room' then I can start them all without Dialog conected to my network and feed through an optical input stereo + mix to the Phantoms. Please try it and confirm if it also works for you. Control of play, pause etc. is done on the device that is fed in through the optical input.
