I would definitely send the cover. When I sent my amps to Paris for the Pro conversion, although I sent the covers, on return I noticed that the cover and body on the amps didn’t line up properly. The cover was about 1.5mm higher than the body of the amp. It looked and felt horrible. After many emails back and forth, Devialet changed the whole amplifier.
