I fixed this issue and when occasionally it returns, a couple times, I fixed it immediately with the following routine:
- Pull out power from Expert
- Pull out ethernet from Expert
- Plug in power to Expert
- Check wifi bears appear
- Play something on Roon
- Plug in ethernet - wifi bars disappear and Roon pauses
- Press play on Roon
It only takes a minute and it gets Roon working properly.
It have feeling it is auto-negotiation going wrong. Whatever it is, this fixes it for me the 3 times I've had to do it.
