I'd guess it's a standard metric thread (M2 or something like that?) so maybe you could use an ordinary nut or a wing nut available from a hardware store.  It wouldn't be as pretty but should do the job.

Good idea, but I think a wing nut would foul the connectors. An ordinary nut would probably fit though.
