Please excuse my ignorance, at the moment I have a Vortexbox unit running Squeezelite player via USB into my D200 expert. The Vbox has nearly 2Tb of Flac files on it.
I am very tempted by Phantom after seeing a demonstration last week, thinking 2 with Dialog, but I can't work out how I can play my music. If I connect the Vbox and dialog to my home network, it can't use the Squeezelite player so would it see my files via Ethernet and be able to play them using Spark or does that only work on a computer loaded with the Spark software?
I have all my files mirrored on my PC but I don't want to have it on just to listen to music.
I am not interested in Tidal or Quobuz, I have a Spotify account, but that is just to audition new music.
Am I wasting my time with Phantom or is there a way to listen to stored files?
