The idea was to apply a vacuum to the dent and suck it back out. Definitely not to fill it up, that would obviously not work out and probably bring an imbalance to the whole thing.
Besides, I doubt whether it is even possible to take it out since it is pressed with over a ton of pressure.
Either way, these things are definitely high-tech!
