How UPS treats shipments labelled with "Don't drop. Fragile! Handle with care."
#3
Hi,

it was one-way France -> Austria.

Luckily, Amp and remote have no visible damages. But cannot test function and sound until weekend. Hope, that all is OK inside the Amp and that nothing is broken during this shipment.

It is like bewitched: when UPS delivers clothes or shoes from online stores to me, all super fine. Not even damages on the outer packings. But when it's about an expensive Amp, this happens.

Devialet promised to ship a new original package.

Regards

Knud

Has that outer box only had one return journey from Austria-France-Austria? If so, it has been shockingly treated by UPS.

I know that the purpose of the outer packing is to take all that the courier can throw at it and protect the contents but that really is poor.

Hope the Amp survived.
