On your questions about Roon:

Most people (from reports here) have found that Roon's built-in version of AIR works much more reliably than the Devialet "virtual sound card" driver that you were originally using with your laptop, so if your network is generally stable you should be able to stream over Ethernet without crackles or drop-outs.

There can be endless debate about whether the machine you run Roon on affects the sound quality, so I'll stay out of that and just say: try it for yourself.  You can get a free 14-day trial of Roon and it's fairly easy to install so there's not much to lose if you decide you don't like it within that time.

Thank you very much thumb5. Great to know that Roon air works well. My Devialet since it is not pro version doesnt have CI board and 
looks like no more new firmware's which I understand it is the nature of business.
I will get roon trial and try myself and decide. 

A fiend in general mentioned that the quality of roon endpoint determines the sound quality rather than the core or server.
