The resampling from 96k to 48k is done in the Phantoms after Roon has sent the signal over RAAT and before the Phantoms apply SAM. In the end I do not see if it has any advantage compared to resample in Roon to 48k. Signals above 96k are resampled in Roon to 96k then sent to the Phantoms. This is with the latest firmware DOS 2.13.2 and RAAT SDK 1.1.38.
