I was thinking the other day about S5 without listening any of speakers at this range about an upgrade path to my current speakers. How do you find S5/400 combo?

Maybe a little tongue in cheek !!!

I found these at a very good price and took a chance on them after listening to and loving the S1.

If you can imagine an S1 (if you have heard one) with the most awesomely set up super sub-woofer in the world that's about what its like. Clarity like you have never heard before, thunderous but completely controlled bass and micro detailing to die for.

I only had the 200 to start with and they were superb with that but adding the second 200 took them to another level. Have 4 really good mates with excellent systems who are knocked out by the sound of them. All are really glad they are so heavy as I cant take them to their houses to listen to as they might have to buy them as well.

Apparently still running in (and noticeably) they are getting better every day as I put more time on them.
