I find it so frustrating not to be able to find a simple way to use Phantom. I have now cancelled my proposed purchase as I can't find a suitable way to utilise them without buying a lot of extra equipment.
I am sure that if I was a bit more knowledgeable about networking I could make it all work but after spending the weekend researching optical converters and other options my head hurts and I am going to stick with my D200. I love the sound and the convenience of Phantom but I feel Devialet have shot themselves in the foot with the lack of standard digital connections.
