OK guys, speculation or not, if one has the fantastic new integration of Roon with Devialet, why would I need the new streamer board?
Please bear in mind that Roon has Tidal and Internet Radio already well entrenched, other than choice, there is no need for Spotify, Deezer etc etc. I don't need to stream UPnP (hate it). Bluetooth and Airplay I can do without. Roon now controls on/off and volume, so anything the streamer board brings in this department via the iOS app is duplication and then opening multi apps (hate it). I guess an improved app might give us access to Expert settings, which is a big plus. I guess another big plus might be OTA (Over-the-air) firmware updates.
So why, please discuss? I know it's a free upgrade, but the logistics for me (living in a country that does not have UPS) are a nightmare. If it was user fitted, no problem, but returning unit to base involves a whole lot of pain to organise.
