Streaming from router via ethernet cable

I'd suggest starting from the basics and working upwards.  Do you know whether your Mac can reach the Devialet over your LAN (for example, can you run something like Fing or LanScan on the Mac and "see" the Devialet)?  I guess so, otherwise you probably couldn't select the Devialet in AIR.  Assuming that step is OK: does the AIR icon in the Mac's menu bar go black (and stay black), or is it grey?

Yupp, the icon is black and stays black. Lanscan doesn't seem to recognize Devialet. Here's a screenshot:
