There are many phono/AD combinations in the market that can digitise the signal, but these can not put a live stream to Roon. Roon does not have an input for a USB or SPDIF signal. The only way at the moment is to connect to an internet radio instance to receive a stream. The Trans Vinyl unit can act as a radio station.
JRiver has a device for this kind of input, but that requires the server to be close to the source. Rumour has it that this is somewhat unstable...

You can buy a bit of software for $100 that can convert a USB input into a radio stream for Roon. In fact I think there’s some freeware that’ll do it too.
