Yes, interestingly enough the reviewer pointed out the noticeable issue with female voice sibilance, this is something that I’ve noticed with my 440 Pro.

Similarly with the claim the 220 can sound clinical. I’ve had absolutely no trace of that. The system sounds warm when required and likewise cool, depending entirely on the recording. What it doesn’t have is any tendency towards clinical. Again its too neutral for that. Above all else the Devialet amps are transparent so whatever is in the signal is what they’ll play, with all the characteristics intact. If something in the playback chain has a characteristic of occasionally emphasising sibilance or adding a slightly clinical character, the Devialet will process and amplify it perfectly. 
When I have heard extra sibilance is when something in the chain is running in or when processing and amplifying the output of a cheap consumer SMPS powered device like a lot of network stuff.

Sibilance? probably the tweeters in the systems concerned.
