My thoughts on Devialet

Having read both your posts several times I'm at a complete loss as to why you started this thread and what point you're trying to make.  I hope you enjoy your Gryphon, anyway.

Well I apologize, I don't mean to be confusing.

Imagine if you went to Mercedes dealer you wanted to buy a S580 it's MSRP is $100,000. imagine he tells you all about the tech and drive train. Now imagine he sells it to you for $90,000. Not great but you are happy.

Now Imagine your cousin bought the same car with the same options. but he paid $45,000. Not used, not broke, not nothing.

Maybe you don't care maybe you are happy for him. But now you find out anyone that wants one can go grab one for 45k.

You go to dealer, "hey why is everyone getting the car cheaper?"

"The dealer says, oh those guys, fuck them they are losers."

You say, "why?"

Dealer says, "well those losers had to order online and wait you came here I gave you a donut and wine ain't that worth the extra 45k."

Many here myself excluded was told just that.

You now already bought the car you could try and sell it but who will give you what you paid? Who will even give you the 45k the other guy online is selling them for.

So now you can put you fingers in you ear, and go "yeah screw those guys, losers who buy online."

Or you can get upset take the lose and move on.

But what most do is simply act like nothing is happening.

My point was and is Devialet needs to decide what they are and pull their heads out of their asses.

No one with money is gonna buy one of these for 50k not after seeing how Devialet treats their customers.

Hell man I bought the half price stuff and I am appalled at the way people here where treated.

Unfortunately I can understand the reason, message behind this thread.
It’s really very sad to see how this once leading and so promising brand has come to a standstill.
So many promises made on their way ... understandable that even some of the most engaged customers lost faith and finally left.
The software update held out in prospect will take even longer due to Covid-19.
I do think 2020 will be a decisive year for Devialet for a few reasons.

People respond too often today without actually reading the words they are replying to.
