Hard reset it, it will fix it. I also had a similar issue. What a hard reset will not fix is the complete lockup when switching sources.
Didn’t work for me
When it happens, I’ve noticed that if I go into my stereo pair setting and press the Left speaker for me the left speaker completely stops working after this, buttons on speaker = useless, controlling the speaker via app = useless. Only my right one works. Only way to fix this I’ve found is by turning the speakers on and off at the plug.
