How to use Devialet 440pro CI to act as phono amp and streamer only
#1
I have a sme6 turntable with Hana ML (moving-coil) cartridge of 0.4mV output, a 440 pro CI (one master plus one slave) and a pair of Vivid V1.5 loudspeakers, and a small listening area. I also stream tidal music from the computer to my Devialet using AIR. Like to try different thing, so I am planning to buy a traditional A or AB type integrated amplifier and use the Devialet to act as a phono amp and streamer to pair with my new integrated amp. How should I set the configurator? Can someone give me some idea, please? Yes, it is not easy to sell the Devialet nowadays. So maybe I can try new thing with still employ the 440 in my system. Not sure whether I would really buy a new amp but it is just a plan right now.

You can configure a RCA fixed voltage output and connect the output to your preamp or integrated amp. It has sound that way, but I don't think it will sound any special.

Devialet's technology relies on you using the whole amp and connect to speakers. If you just use its RCA output, you are not using the whole technology ..... you can use it to test other gears, but it doesn't sound the best that way.
