That worked for me as well.

Good for you, Pim.
I´m glad to know it. Now you can be relieved: you´re a "certified" man.

Is it possible to run a direct ethernet connection between core and devialet without using a switch? If so, will Spotify connect still work?

This seems to somehow be related to the 140. I have seen at least one other case on the Roon forum with the same problem. Roon support says this must be dealt with by Devialet. Check posts at the end of this thread: https://community.roonlabs.com/t/expert-...eady/61890

After repeated rebooting of Roon, plugging out-and-in of Devialet power cords, and running build 401, my Od’A is still “Uncertified”.

Take a look on the Roon Community forum some people have definitely done this with a ROCK core, you need a second Ethernet connection.

Please report directly to Devialet and Roon, the more people that do the sooner they will fix this issue.

Yes BUT you need to have Roon running on a device with 2 ethernet ports, one which you connect to your router for the internet connection Roon needs and the other which you connect to your Devialet. If you only have 1 ethernet put on the device running Roon then you need to use a switch.

There are some servers (Innuos, current Antipodes models) with 2 ethernet ports. I have no idea about whether any NUCs have 2 ports. The Roon Nucleus only has 1 port and my not discontinued Antipodes DS only has one. Overall I think devices with 2 ports are in the minority.

Here is a box having two ethernet ports that might be suitable: http://www.shuttle.eu/products/slim/ds77u/  or http://global.shuttle.com/news/productsS...uctId=2115
The i7 processor should be sufficient, even for big collections: https://ark.intel.com/products/95451/Int...o-3-50-GHz-
I'm thinking about building my Roon server based on it
