Do you have a mic to measure the response and do an a/b test? I think this is what we expected from the lower damping factor. It should be warmer and easier to listen to than analytical, if that's the right term. Or different terms - Expert is pro gear, while Astra is a high-end product. No surprise there, but I'm really curious how that warmth is reflected in the image because I expect Astra to add a lot more coloration to the sound than Expert based on the item's specs and what you're sharing confirms that.
And also I wouldn't compare the dual setup to single setup because for me there is a day and night difference in between 220 vs 440 for example. Mono amp is a whole different world, if you compare Dual Astra to 250 and if you think that the difference is huge you should see the difference of 250 vs 1000 too because that difference is also extreme in my setup.
