How to disable wireless - Bluetooth & Wifi?
#1
I read the manual, found that I need to press the power button for 2 second to switch to standby mode, ok.

However, I cannot find anything in the manual or in the Devialet App to turn off Bluetooth or Wifi. Any idea?

If not present, would a firmware update + App update allow that? Apart from that, it would indeed by nice to let the control to the user, this would also close entry points for malicious neighbours (c.f. https://devialetchat.com/Thread-Bluetooth-Security).

Good day,

I entered the speaker’s internal webpage (find your speaker’s IP on your network and use a browser) and I can’t find anything on deactivating bluetooth. Fortunately, BT range isn’t great so I don’t see much of a threat there.

I couldn’t find a way to deactivate UPnP either, but if you secure your network well, I don’t think the threat here is severe either.

You can password protect AirPlay access to your speakers via this configurator though. Not sure if you are using iOS.

Good luck - and sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
