I would really like the ability to set a limit to the volume.
It's kind of crazy it can't be done since the speakers are so powerful, or have I just missed that option somewhere?

You haven't overlooked anything, there's no volume limitation.

I would like spark to function in landscape mode on an ipad. Surely not to much to ask.

A great list of ideas i also have a few basic addons i would like.

1. Touch to Mute is a fantastic idea and the touch sensor is already there ( if you remember originally they said there was great things going to happen with this sensor #itneverhappened)

2. setting different input volumes for different sources (Tidal through spark seems to push the phantom up to its max volume all the other inputs are about 10% less some even more)

3. Better wifi connection (Mine drops loads) 

4. Again as some one has said room correction or EQ.
