Does anybody know if the Wi-Fi on the Golds has been upgraded to  802.11 AC or not?

The Silvers had up to 802.11 N

AC would make a huge bandwidth throughput improvement if one is using an AC router to feed the signal to the Phantoms.

Seems like it would be a no brainer to upgrade the Phantoms to AC but who knows how Devialet see it

According to their website it's "Wi-Fi Dual-band (a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz)", same as the previous ones.

yeah saw that but was hoping that they might have improved the radio but not updated the specs page properly seeing how 802.11N or 802.11AC may not seem a big difference to a copy writer.

Oh well, opportunity missed for them. AC would really get the data throughput well UP
