The project came into being after Eric Clapton had to cancel his concerts at the Royal Albert Hall planned for May 2021. In search of an alternative, he withdrew with his band into the English countryside and staged a concert in which only the participants themselves were present while the cameras were rolling. The result is much more than just a string of the greatest hits. Rather, it is one of the most intimate and authentic performances of Clapton's entire career, an offering that gives a real glimpse into the makeup of his stunning catalog.

Carnegie Hall 1970 Live (Remastered)

In Neil Young's long and glorious career, there have been a number of appearances that have had a particularly mythical reputation thanks to the dubious (and, in retrospect, valued) practice of bootlegging.

The first release Carnegie Hall was recorded on original multitrack analog tapes and mixed by "The Volume Dealers" aka Neil Young and Niko Bolas.  This recording is from the concert on December 4th, 1970 - a musical historical moment because it was the first time Neil Young took the stage in the famous New York Concert Hall.  There were two performances at Carnegie Hall, one on December 4th and another at midnight the next morning.  This first show was never recorded by bootleggers - and was by far the better concert, according to Young.

1973 saw the release of Pink Floyd's 8th album, The Dark Side of the Moon. This album is not only the band's most successful album, but also their 3rd best-selling album of all time with over 50 million records sold. Around a quarter of a million copies are still sold every year. "The Dark Side of the Moon" also stayed on the Billboard 200 chart for more than 800 weeks straight, that's over 15 years!
