Lately I've been going through the CD's I have that are part of a series that I think is generally called, 'Jazz in Paris'. They are generally older recordings from the '50's & '60's, and Gitanes was the label. The 5 or 6 that i have are live and it is a great listen. Don't for to these for modern studio perfection, but for a great vibe and live jazz from some fabulous musicians and bands. Like a trip back in time!.
Album covers generally have this sort of look. Cool cardboard sleeves, too. CD rips into iTunes. Wish I could get better artwork, but it gives you the idea. Damon
