Antoine, did Devialet continue to offer upgrade to D-Premier after 15th July 2014?
As far as i know the deadline (15 Jul 14) was not adhered to. i enquired earlier this year and it was still possible to upgrade a D-Prem.
Why shouldn´t they upgrade it as they have the pieces to do that.
If they wouldn´t do that, they would earn no money.

The same with early adopters right now. I bet there will never be
a point of time, where they tell you, it´s to late to upgrade ;-)

I get you. You're right.
Anyone see this post from FanthorpesHifi on pfm? Says the upgrade from expert 800 to expert 1000 pro costs £3990 and something about buying the 800 at a discount and upgrading later will actually save you money.

£3990 for the upgrade from 800 to 1000 Pro? That's much less than what we have been hearing.

Guillaume
I heard a bird twittering today. It told me that the 120 will be 200Evo. 120 will then be history. Same upgrade cost for both 120 and 200. About 3500 eur

It's the price of the upgrade when you buy a new 800 before 31-8.

"Until august 31st you can reduce the price of the expert 800 to £15280 by trading in any existing piece of hifi. If you go on to upgrade this during 2016 to the Expert 1000 pro, the upgrade will cost you £3990.

This effectively means that you have purchased your expert 1000 pro for £19270, an approximate saving of 15%(£3627) on the full RRP of £22900"

Of course you are totally right. I just read the headline.  Blush

Anyway let's just wait until next Wednesday. All the details will be revealed then, or at least those relating to the 1000 Pro. Perhaps we will hear more about the upgrades for the rest of the range.

I must say that all this conjecture, as a recent owner of the O d'A, has been emotionally exhausting.

I know how you feel. I've just paid for the O d'A I'm buying of Gentleman and, because I got screwed by the bank on the exchange rate, I could possibly have had a better deal by going the 800 to 1000 route. On top of that, my 200 will be worth pennies on the second hand market. I must be a positive thinker though; I'm just happy to get the nice copper look and I can now convince my wife it's not worth selling the 200 so we might as well keep it for the bedroom  Smile
