Found it. Got replay from Devialet today, waiting time is 2 weeks.

Installed and running within half an hour. This is what I think.

Build quality is good. Design is out of this world. Looks more like a 3d hologram beamer or ultra modern air-purifier/humidifier than a loudspeaker to me

Installing is easy. Just follow the instructions in Spark, perform some magic touches to the Phantoms and swipe their respective icons in the right corner of your i-device to place them left or right.

Sound is impressive. Clean, detailed and rich. Very adjustible in volume. From 0-100. 0-10 is for dreaming, 20-40 normal listening volumes. Around 50 for work out or party. 60-70 is perfect when listening to dynamic classical music or when you want to feel the bass kick you in your stomach. Above 70 is for the insane. These things play L O U D (standard Phantoms, not even the Silver).
Good thing is the 'night modus' which filters out most of the bass tones. Very suitable when listening music later in the evening or when you're worried about the neighbours.

Spark works perfectly fine with Qobuz. Some music from my iPhone plays well (even though it is only 256kb).
I've had many hifi sets over the years which served me well but where a little too large to my liking and I hated those cables all over the place. Solutions like B&W Zeppelin, Sonos, Libratone are better in this perspective, but sound only reasonable. But these Phantoms offer me everything I want. Can't compare their quality to anything I've owned before. Easy to place, good looking. My wife likes them. They are cute she says.

What leaves to be desired is some preset equalization (like rock, classic, acoustic or live) as well as personal adjustments. Standard is just perfect, but sometimes I can really appreciate these settings.

They are now waiting for their 'branch' stands. My hifi set is placed on eBay

Welcome! I could not put it better in words! Exactly how I feel about the Phantoms. Same experience here! Enjoying them every day, looking forward to all extensions and additions. Devialet's patents make me hope for more innovations to come! If interested see WO 2015/044385 (in French only, but Google translates)
I am not at home right now, has anyone been able to test Spark 1.1.2.4?

Link, please.
Are there any plans for black? I'm not real keen on the white.

I asked them for at awhile ago for a black version and they said no.
That's a shame.
I've just taken deliver of a pair of silver Phantoms and a Dialog.

Installation easy. Sound is really pleasing and I could happily live with it (I've not done a side by side comparison with my 800s/Q1s).

Very very musical. In my view they benefit from being played at exactly the right volume.

Spark developments I'd like to see would include a balance control and a rotary (not linear) volume control.

As someone else mentioned, a black version would be good for those who prefer something less conspicuous.

So you get something remarkable for £4k, compared with £60k for D-Premiers converted to 800s; and Q1s; and speaker cables.

New toys are often initially impressive so I reserve judgement on the longer term comparison but I don't reserve judgement of the value comparison - given the right marketing Devialet should sell these in huge numbers.

For me the silver phantoms are not a new toy anymore after more than a month of using them as my main and daily used audio system. And I'm still enjoying the SQ every day with Qobuz CD quality streams of good quality recordings. I have no audiophile gear to compare, so I'm curious to hear where you see the SQ of the Phantoms. I'm certainly not expecting that they could challenge your 60k system, but my more than 25 year old B&W 802 (model from 1980), is in almost all aspects inferior to the phantoms.
