I'm not sure why Devialet would release a "Sonos killer" with built-in speaker, Selling hifi on Best Buy?!
I hope this is not true! Only thing Devialet is missing is a media player that is wireless, talking with "Air" and not dependent on Itunes, etc. ..and the Cherry on top with built-in room correction

I think that Devialet's target is mass market, with ADH in common TVs and so on…
So, an ADH Sonos-like Best Buy should be their objective… Devialet 250 ■ Wilson Audio Duette ■ Apple Mac Mini & PiTouch
Audiophonics ethernet cable ■ Audioquest Diamond USB cable ■ LessLoss Anchorwave speaker cables ■ LessLoss Signature power cords France

But, for the amount of investment going in, they will need to cover the £2k - £5k range (in addition to the current £6k - 20k range) to get the revenues. Whether that counts as mass-market, I don't know. Licensing and embedding ADH is a possibility, but why give away your crown jewels to competitors? Anyway, I agree with the general consensus that there will be a new product aimed at Sonos. I just hope there are some pre-Christmas goodies for the rest of us!

Personally I'd love it if my Devialet could see the NAS on my network and just play the files.. Without the need for AIR .. Call it a big Sonos player, and throw in Internet radio, pandora, tidal, and spotify!!!

I fully agree with you Erik I mean, look for example at the NAD BluOS Controller app for NAD M50, for me this is just WOW! why can't Devialet have that wealth of streaming options built in their app. They don't have to go all the way here like NAD, but at least have a selection that will include options for internet radio, HiFi and standard streaming. If you look at the Phantomrising countdown clock, it ends very early morning on the 17th. So nothing much will implode tomorrow .......
