I agree with SupaDean, every time I lost signal, stereo etc. with my 2 Phantom Gold Premier + Dialog, it was due to my LAN becoming sub par... and gee it is easy to get to that crap state when one is forced to use one DSL modem for Internet connected Ethernet to one WIFI router linking to a repeater via 5ghz for max throughput then phantoms connected to Dialog with Ethernet to repeater and Dialog getting source via Tos-link from dedicated sound PC using W11 and Sound blaster top ext sound card... Nothing but net huh?
So when sh.t happens, I now blame my repeater, LAN etc. first and when I reset or modify (Wi-Fi congestion etc.) things get back to normal... It took me a while to make the jump to DOS 2 as I was afraid it would get worse... well yes and no... had less LAN issues before maybe, but the setup is now fast and clean and I do think I m perceiving a little better with sound too... Just my 2 bobs here guys to try save you time etc. in sending the speakers back if the problem sits elsewhere... That would make me very angry to be without my Golds as I listen to them EVERY day 365 days (if I am home) for at least 12 hours straight...
