I have the Aurender X100L for almost one month now. I have to say that I'm really impressed. Haven't had any problem with either the unit or the app. Installation: 10/10. Sofware update: 10/10. Utilisation, set up, transfer of files, etc: 10/10, easy. No crash, no freeze, no surprise like suddenly, it doesnt play., nothing, stable, stable, stable. And the sound is fantastic... I don't miss my mini and JRiver/JRemote for one second!

I second that. And with the latest update Tidal integration is now perfect. Streaming is stable, no dropouts and works is expected of a solid steamer.

I only occasionally noticed a hick up with Tidal streaming. After yesterdays upgrade it's a bit too soon to tell for me. I did notice the Aurender app or the N100 was sluggish in use, it took a while for the app to communicate with the N100 and display the current playlist. We'll see what happens tonight after I power-cycled the N100.

Maybe that could be the key difference between the X and N series. I suppose the X series benefit from internal storage which translates into faster loading and buffering of the tracks to be played onto the SSD.

The N100 also has an SSD drive for buffering. 128GB if memory serves.
