"Last year a quarter of my engineers fixed a bug. - I couldn't be prouder"

No. A quarter were filing for patents and the other three quarters were fixing bugs

Just been on the Devialet online shop. Every Expert Pro model shown as out of stock Confused

A few weeks back I listened to a DAC which is far more revealing and has a sweeter sound than the Devialet 220Pro CI

It is an Audio Analogue AA DAC, made in Italy.,  This was coupled with a Valve Audio Predator amplifier.  The VA amp is made in South Africa and has a devoted following amongst the SA Audio fraternity

If Devialet will launch a new product, which will replace the Expert Pro range, then the owners of Expert Pro are doomed: there will be no firmware update for the Expert Pro range.
Do you remember the hopes we had when we thought Devialet would unify the firmware from Expert Pro and Phantom I+II? Since then there have only been upgrades for the Phantom I+II (many), but not for the Expert Pro.
Sad...
