my information from Devialet support is following:

Ich verstehe Ihren Wunsch nach einer klaren Zeitschiene und entschuldige mich dafür, dass ich Ihnen aktuell keine konkreten Termine nennen kann, da Sie nicht ewig warten möchten.
Wie bereits erwähnt, benötigt die Entwicklung und Implementierung einer solchen Funktion Zeit, damit unser Produktionsteam sie qualitativ hochwertig umsetzen kann. Dies gilt insbesondere für die Berücksichtigung älterer Modelle wie die Pro Serie in Software-Updates.
Die Pro Serie ist uns sehr wichtig, und die Überlegung, die Software noch einmal zu aktualisieren, besteht bei unserem Entwicklungsteam grundsätzlich.
Dennoch habe ich leider noch keine abschließende Rückmeldung von unserem Produktionsteam erhalten, ob und wann diese Funktion verfügbar sein wird.
Falls ich in der Zwischenzeit ein Feedback erhalten habe, melde ich mich umgehend bei Ihnen, um Ihnen Bescheid zu geben.

OK,
So what they are telling us is that Pro is important to them but there is no plan to make Spotify Lossless work?! How is the Pro-series important for them, I would like to know.

Bond of trust between Devialet and Expert Pro owners was broken several years ago. I cannot see Devialet providing any software updates to legacy/ superseded hardware.

Please see my post in another thread earlier today and be patient. I own my Dev since 2014 and always got good support and updates. otherwise, I propose that you open a ticket for the user support so they can see your demand.

Here a finding at the LINN website. As I wrote, they are not supporting the units before 2018 anymore with new Spotify lossless.
But they suggest following item from WiiM, which might be a good idea for several streaming services with a Devialet digital input:

WiiM solution to Spotify Lossless
Currently, a solution for Spotify lossless on the Linn DSM's (here Devialet Expert), you can use a WiiM media streamer .
This setup will play at the quality of your Linn DSM – playback uses the Linn DSM’s audio clock, meaning that jitter from the source device’s clock will be removed.

Plug a TOSLINK optical cable from the WiiM media streamer SPDIF OUT digital output directly into a Linn DSM TOSLINK digital input, and use the superior audio DAC of the Linn DSM. This will give you the full Spotify lossless, and any other WiiM supported streaming services into the Linn DSM.




Set up of the WiiM for use with the Linn DSM is easy
1. On the WiiM control app, go into Devices, select your WiiM and the select the gear cog on the bottom right, this will bring you into the WiiM setup page.
2. In the Sound submenu:
a).Audio Settings:
i) We would advise turning "Fixed Volume Output:" ON. This will give the Linn DSM full volume control options
ii) Optical Output Resolution: set to "Sample rate:" 192kHz & Bit depth: 24bit
b) .Audio Output:
i) Change to Optical Out


To use the WiiM with the Linn DSM and Spotify:
1. Select the TOSLINK input on the Linn DSM
2. Open Spotify and Connect to the WiiM *** or the name you have given the WiiM.
3. Double check, in your Spotify User profile setting that "Audio Streaming quality" is set to Lossless, Up to 1GB/hr
4. Now play Spotify music.
