Devialet have discontinued the Expert Pro line and replaced it with the Astra. They have long discontinued firmware updates for the Expert Pro line. Since very few manufacturers continue to provide firmware updates for discontinued products and Devialet have not provided any firmware updates for the Expert Pro line for some years I think you can be absolutely certain that there will be no further updates for our Devialet.

Okay, thank you for your assessment. Perhaps someone here in the forum could post a few screenshots showing how best to interpret the results obtained with this external software. Or else a link where it is explained in a way that beginners like me can understand. Thank you.

I have to ask again for your knowledge on the subject of the Sweet Room, because unfortunately I still don't really understand some things. I just downloaded the ‘House Curve’ tool onto my tablet and used it to take a measurement of the entire frequency response. Whether this makes sense or not doesn't matter for now, I'm just trying to understand the whole topic a little better. It doesn't matter whether the House Curve programme is recommended or not, I just want to make the whole thing easier to understand.
If I now enter this (see below) in this eq.text file and then save it on the sd card and feed it to the Expert, can I switch the whole thing back and forth via the remote control?
In other words, I leave Main as it is and enter my measurements in Alternate so that I can get an impression of what I hear.
The whole explanation on the Devialet help page is absolutely bad for me, it should be described in such a way that even people like me, who have no idea about this matter, can understand it more easily.
What do I do if I no longer want to use this whole SweetRoom?
Just delete the text file on the SD card?

Hello,

- there are posts about this tool, somewhere here, also
- if the file is present, it will operate this, otherwise not - so you are right
- there are failure in this option, be careful and control the effects with e.g. REW and a UMIK microphone, best
- with SAM active, only a few filter will work (about first 3, 4 or5)
- it is not recommended, to do a correction above about 100 Hz, it might sound awful
- start with the lowest frequency, a correction will have an effect of all the other frequencies, first the doubled, than mixed
- you should not hope to get a correction with a +dB, as the gaps are mostly from room deleting effects
- benefit of this tool, IMHO, is that it has an effect at all sources like Vinyl or TV, as the filter for streaming e.g. in Roon effects only that
- thats why I correct the main room mode only

I'll believe it when I see it.   Hard to imagine why Devialet has not been actively communicating any further efforts regarding the Expert Pro line, but then, we are talking about Devialet.
