After some discussions with Guillaume, the last of them being this one : http://devialetchat.com/showthread.php?t...2#pid37982 as well as other discussions with French bloggers, some of whom are very supportive of the Trinnov technology, I have decided to give a try to the Trinnov Amethyst, which is a complete mix of technologies for music streaming, room correction, DAC, aso... Here is the link to their web site : http://www.trinnov.com/products/hi-fi/am...lang=en_en
I should receive a test unit in the very next days, and will have a week or so to decide whether to keep it or not.
In the meantime, and to illustrate what these guys are doing, I wanted to share with you a series of training videos aimed at pro-audio specialists, who are their main customers.

Although these videos have a clear marketing goal, I found them quite informative.
My goal with this unit is to compensate for a poor room setting in my installation. Obviously the best correction would have been to dedicate a room for my system, and to make a passive sound correction of the room first, but I cannot imagine myself moving to the house basement to listen to music. So I decided to keep the music installation inside my living environment and bear the consequences buying an active correction system.
I know some of you have tested Dirac software/plugin for the same usage. Obvisouly Dirac is a much cheaper solution and seems to offer great value to its users. A French blogger recently made a comparison between the two technologies there : https://translate.google.com/translate?s...edit-text=
Has anyone an experience to share in this field ?
I will keep you updated when I have the opportunity to evaluate mine...
