Firstly, with a 1000 pro you can not play dsd via roon and 176.4khz files
it is also an impossibility to use a 250 pro as a preamplifier for a headphone end amplifier
Line out works with usb and aes / ebu but not with ethernet, so no Roon.
When playing with the 1000 pro of dsd and 176.4khz files, the companion is switched off, and you have to disconnect the master and companion from the power to restart.
Strange is that 192khz gives no problem
However, the sound quality is great, a real improvement.
How do we get beta software?
Maybe some bucks have already been removed.
When will there be a new release?
I hope that Devialet will come up with solutions quickly and hope that they know these problems.
My system:
Roon via a fanless nuc (Akasa) with sbooster 19v by means of an Audioquest diamond ethernet connected with netgear switch with 12 volt sbooster and then with vodka to fiber and then to master, so a clean
ethernet stream.
Speakers Bowers 803-D3 with audioquest oak.
My reference are Aurender n10 and CEC TL 3N
I can tell you that Roon sounds more open than the aurender and with more detail.
Especially after the core infinity update, that has only increased.
@Jan - Obviously many issues with Core Infinity, which is disappointing.  However, I was quite stuck by your comment "I can tell you that Roon sounds more open than the aurender and with more detail."  The thing is, I would say that the Aurender N10 is amongst the best sounding 'front ends' that I have heard with a Devialet.  Is it a case that Roon AIR sounds better in all respects?  Or is it a case that Roon AIR sounds more open and detailed, but there are some downsides, or to put it another way, is the Aurender is better in other areas?

Roon has a better stereo image and more detail.
Aurender N10 is narrower in stereo image but sounds a bit
thicker.
Aurender is a media player and roon stream softwere, so in fact you can not compare it.
the sound via roon is closest to my 2-string CD player,
the cec.and maybe better.
If I now have the choice between aurender and roon, I opt for roon, especially because the price difference is too great.
I now use the aurender with roon as a NAS and that is the ultimate display.
I think a Melco can also achieve that quality

I just tried that, but the page just says ‘initialising...’ never does anything else.

Oh ok - then it might not be enabled in the Release Candidate.
Then write e-mail to support@devialet.com or / and post to https://help.devialet.com/hc/en-us/artic...cember-1st-
One problem I am having using ROON AIR is playing MQA files from TIDAL. Before CI these worked fine. Now, if I have a  now MQA followed by a MQA it stops at the end of the previous file. If I press the forward (next track) button it will move on and play the MQA file (and I recognizing this is not playing MQA). Likewise if I play a whole album of TIDAL MQA it stops after each track but will play this next one upon pushing the forward button.

For me the irony is this used to happen when I played music thru HQPlayer and ROON - one of the reason I used ROON AIR (prior to the new CI board) more then HPQ. But recently HQP and ROON got together and solved this as a problem.....now it’s a problem with AIR.

What are you gonna do......it’s aleays something.

I tried doing this but after clicking the submit button it only says that "Collecting logs on the device" but nothing happens after that. Should it show a confirmation message when the report has been submitted successfully?

Unfortunately it doesn't show a confirmation page - but your report is being sent. And you will also soon get a response from customer service.

Thanks a lot. I've submitted the first report now. Let's see how many bugs I'm able to find.
After the CI upgrade: Hearing pops and clicks via USB (Melco N1A ---> the SMS-200 Ultra ---> Devialet 440 pro). Also cant seem to make UPnP work via the Melco LAN player port, using either Kinsky or Kazoo.
Today I finally had time to start configuring my 2pcs of 250 pro as biamp mode. I had tested those in factory more and all worked. But when I configured the biamp mode another unit keeps to restarting itself repeatedly. After some time and several tests it now starts and then shut down itself but doesn't restart. And now even the factory mode doesn't work... another unit does work but another doesn't. I did reinstall the software but it didn't help.

What should I try next?
Just received my two D220Pro back from Devialet, had one working since Saturday and decided to install the other today, both on the same network but different ip addresses listed in Roon, the problem is when one is playing if I try to start play on the other one I get ‘device in use’. I can only clear this by pulling the plug and exiting Roon however whichever device I try to start up second then has the same issue ‘device in use’. Has anyone else had this issue and or resolved it?
